Since bicycle wheels have been designed to be easily released and replaced for those that are serious road bikers, it is important to secure your bike in an area that cannot be easily removed such as the metal frame or a wheel that doesn’t have a quick release.

Now a bike storage rack in your garage doesn’t require much in the way of security. Just make sure that the base of the storage rack is wide enough to keep the rack sturdy when you place your bike on the pegs.
